These Moa Island style earrings are a vibrant expression of Torres Strait culture, featuring hand-beaded designs by Josie Nawia. Using glass beads and fishing line, the earrings showcase traditional blue and yellow colour palettes and are finished with elegant gold-coloured hooks. The design measures 3cm x 3cm, making them lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear.

Proudly created through Moa Arts, an Indigenous-owned and operated art centre on Mua Island in the Torres Strait, these earrings honour the rich Muglal traditions of Zenadth Kes arts and culture. Moa Arts is renowned for its exceptional lino-prints, etchings, weavings, and island-style jewellery, inspired by ancestral stories, totems, and the natural beauty of the island’s land and sea ecosystems.
