These fun, Australian-made Desert Roo Earrings are handcrafted by Occulture in collaboration with Aboriginal Warlukurlangu artist Karen Napaljarri Barnes. Featuring her vibrant “Kangaroo of Yuendumu” artwork printed on anodised aluminium, each earring dangles from a silver hoop, showcasing authentic Australian Aboriginal artistry.
Jewellery designer Lisa Engeman works in collaboration with the Warlukurlangu people of the Yuendumu region of the central Australian desert, Gamilaraay woman, Arkeria Rose Armstrong, and a lineage of well-known and respected artists from Utopia and Yuelumu country, including Raymond Walters Japanangka, transferring their artwork on to exquisitely designed contemporary jewellery pieces. Made by hand, each item possesses unique, intrinsic beauty with variations in shape, size, and metal finish.
