This handcrafted little spice jar by Barbara Richards Ngwarray features Aboriginal art and stands 9 cm tall without the lid and 13 cm tall with it, showcasing a charming pot-belly shape with a 5 cm diameter. The jar is glazed in cream on the inside and the bottom of the lid, with speckled dark purple on the sides, complemented by raw terracotta around the middle and a matching raw terracotta lid adorned with Indigenous artwork painted by Barbara. This versatile piece can hold spices, serve as a small vase, or be used for other items, whether with or without the lid. An Anmatjere artist from Alice Springs, Central Australia, Barbara’s work reflects her cultural heritage and artistic vision.
