About the Artist
Michelle Weare, an artist from Cairns, Far North Queensland, has Indigenous roots from the Jirrbal and Ngadan rainforest groups of the Atherton Tablelands. Inspired by the rich natural environment and her cultural heritage, Michelle creates modern, abstract works. This seed jewellery uses traditional techniques and locally sourced materials.
