About the Artist
Michelle Weare, an artist from Cairns, Far North Queensland, has Indigenous roots from the Jirrbal and Ngadan rainforest groups of the Atherton Tablelands. Inspired by the natural environment of the region, she uses traditional materials and techniques to create modern, wearable pieces.
