Nagula Jarndu’s handmade earrings blend fun, tradition, and cultural significance. Each pair features unique designs and vibrant finishes, combining modern style with Indigenous artistry. Crafted with stainless steel, nickel-free posts, they celebrate Aboriginal culture with a playful and distinctive touch.

These Gaanj earrings, designed by Mayala artist Cecilia Tigan, showcase long trumpet and cone shells in acrylic, each with its own distinctive shape, approximately 7cm in length. They are adorned with a gold-flecked, pearl finish and a dazzling gold mirror top, adding a playful and eye-catching twist to traditional design.

Nagula Jarndu, meaning “Saltwater Woman,” is an arts and textiles business run by Indigenous women from Broome, Western Australia. Established by Yawuru women, it empowers Aboriginal artists to create handcrafted products that reflect the local landscape and celebrate cultural heritage.
