Description
Nagula Jarndu’s handmade earrings blend fun, tradition, and cultural significance. Each pair features unique designs and vibrant finishes, combining modern style with Indigenous artistry. Crafted with stainless steel, nickel-free posts, they celebrate Aboriginal culture with a playful and distinctive touch.
These Yorga (Woman) earrings, designed by Noongar artist Connie Clinch, showcase a symbol for woman in white on browny-grey acrylic. The acrylic portion is approximately 5cm long, while the mirrored top, in a soft pinky blush colour, measures 1.5cm in diameter, adding a delicate and elegant contrast.
Nagula Jarndu, meaning “Saltwater Woman,” is an arts and textiles business run by Indigenous women from Broome, Western Australia. Established by Yawuru women, it empowers Aboriginal artists to create handcrafted products that reflect the local landscape and celebrate cultural heritage.
