Description

Nagula Jarndu’s handmade earrings blend fun, tradition, and cultural significance. Each pair features unique designs and vibrant finishes, combining modern style with Indigenous artistry. Crafted with stainless steel, nickel-free posts, they celebrate Aboriginal culture with a playful and distinctive touch.

These Poinciana Seed earrings, designed by Walmajarri-Nyikina artist Gabriella Baxter, are a unique tribute to the natural beauty of the poinciana tree. Each earring is handcrafted from recycled bamboo, with the seeds varying slightly in shape to highlight their organic origins. An orange mirror acrylic circle tops the design, adding a vibrant touch.  Measuring approximately 6cm in length and featuring stainless steel posts, these earrings are a striking blend of natural materials and contemporary design, celebrating the connection between art and nature.

Nagula Jarndu, meaning “Saltwater Woman,” is an arts and textiles business run by Indigenous women from Broome, Western Australia. Established by Yawuru women, it empowers Aboriginal artists to create handcrafted products that reflect the local landscape and celebrate cultural heritage.
