This beautiful handcrafted necklace by Aboriginal jewellery artist Sonia Pallett features sterling silver and Mookaite beads, often referred to as Australian Jasper. Predominantly found in Western Australia, Mookaite adds unique and vibrant colours to this stunning piece.
The “Ngulburnan, Yuriyawi” design, meaning “Waterhole” in the Wiradjuri language, reflects Sonia’s cultural heritage and storytelling tradition. Growing up in Dubbo, NSW, Sonia incorporates these meaningful symbols into her jewellery designs.
The necklace measures approximately 50cm from end to end, with a pendant around 4.5cm in diameter. Every piece in this collection is made by Sonia, ensuring a blend of traditional motifs and modern style.
