This beautiful handcrafted necklace by Aboriginal jewellery artist Sonia Pallett features sterling silver and Mookaite beads. Predominantly found in Western Australia, Mookaite in lovely warm tones of burgundy, mustard, creams and browns add unique and vibrant colours to this stunning piece.

The “Ngulburnan, Yuriyawi” design, meaning “Waterhole” in the Wiradjuri language, reflects Sonia’s cultural heritage and storytelling tradition. Growing up in Dubbo, NSW, Sonia incorporates these meaningful symbols into her jewellery designs.

The necklace measures approximately 47.5cm from end to end, with a pendant around 3cm in diameter. Every piece in this collection is made by Sonia, ensuring a blend of traditional motifs and modern style.
